South Korean ordinary passport holders can apply for a B1 Visa on Arrival (VOA) when entering Bali. The fee is Rp500,000 per person. The Bali Tourist Levy of Rp150,000 is charged separately from the visa. The free All Indonesia arrival declaration can be completed up to 3 days before your arrival date.

At a glance

What should you prepare before entering Indonesia?

Check that your passport will be valid for at least 6 months when you enter Indonesia. B1 VOA applicants must also have a return ticket or an onward ticket to another country from Indonesia.

  1. 1. If applying for an e-VOA, use the official portal

Apply at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Your e-VOA must be used within 90 days of its issue date; this is different from the length of your permitted stay in Indonesia. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Bali has warned about lookalike sites that overcharge and refuse refunds.

  2. 2. Complete the All Indonesia declaration

Complete it free of charge on allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id or in the official app. You can submit it up to 3 days before your arrival date. It combines arrival, customs, health and quarantine declarations.

  3. 3. Pay the Bali Tourist Levy

Pay electronically on the official Love Bali website, lovebali.baliprov.go.id, or in the app. Save the Levy Voucher, including its QR code, sent to your email after payment.

How much do the VOA and e-VOA cost?

The official fee for both the B1 VOA and electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) is Rp500,000 per person. The Bali Tourist Levy is paid separately from the visa fee.

How long can you stay on a VOA, and how do you extend it?

A B1 VOA allows an initial stay of up to 30 days, including the day you arrive. You can extend the stay permit once for 30 days, for a maximum total stay of 60 days. e-VOA holders can apply for an extension online at evisa.imigrasi.go.id.

  1. 1. Check your initial stay period

Plan your trip so it fits within the maximum 30-day stay, including the day you arrive.

  2. 2. Apply for an extension if needed

The B1 stay permit can be extended once for 30 days. If you hold an e-VOA, apply for an extension online through the official eVisa portal.

  3. 3. Plan to leave before your stay permit expires

Overstaying can result in a fine of Rp1,000,000 per day, starting from the first day. Overstays of 60 days or more may lead to more serious measures, including deportation and an entry ban.

How do you complete the All Indonesia arrival declaration?

Since October 1, 2025, All Indonesia has been fully implemented as the integrated declaration system for international arrivals, and arrivals in Bali must complete it too. You can submit it free of charge on the website or in the official app, up to 3 days before your arrival date.

How much is the Bali Tourist Levy, and where do you pay it?

The levy for foreign visitors to Bali is Rp150,000 per person, separate from the visa fee. Pay electronically on the official Love Bali website, lovebali.baliprov.go.id, or in the app.

What to do in these situations

  1. If your stay is 30 days or less

Check that your return or onward flight fits within the B1 VOA stay period of up to 30 days, including the day you arrive.

  2. If you plan to stay longer than 30 days

Prepare to apply for a one-time 30-day extension of your stay permit. e-VOA holders can apply online through the official eVisa portal.

  3. If you apply for an e-VOA in advance

Use the official eVisa portal and make sure your trip begins within 90 days of the e-VOA issue date.

  4. If you are traveling to Bali with family

Budget Rp150,000 per person for the tourist levy, and keep the QR voucher emailed after each payment.

  5. If you have completed All Indonesia

The integrated declaration covers arrival, customs, health and quarantine information. Check whether a separate e-CD declaration is required at your entry point.
